Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons First Look + Thoughts

I am so excited to be sharing this palette with you all today. This is the NEW Too Faced Chocolate Bon Bons palette. This will be released on December 8th but I was able to get my little hands on it early, thanks to Ipsy and Too Faced. This palette is seriously SO stunning and it smells JUST like any other Too Faced palette. I love how the packaging looks, with the hearts and the shadows are just as cute.

COLOUPOP ULTRA MATTE LIPSTICKS HAUL + SWATCHES

I tend to reward myself for doing good in classes with makeup purchases. I've slowed down on buying makeup lately because I'm trying to save my money so whenever I do well on a test or a paper, I buy myself makeup as a job well done... or I use school as a reason to buy makeup. Whatever it may be, I ordered six of the Colourpop Ultra matte lipsticks the other day. I picks up three of the new (limited edition- I think) colours and three others. I have a few of the ultra mattes and I really loved them and so I wanted to grab a few more.

I have had a few of your mention what ones I should get and Beeper was one of those colors. I knew I wanted to grab it since it was highly recommended. Kapow was also another one I knew I needed to grab. Last time it should out so fast and I couldn't get my hands on it and I'm so happy I did (spoiler: it's my favorite). NYX LIQUID SUEDE LIPSTICKS + A 250$ ULTA GIFTCARD GIVEAWAY

I have been on a liquid lipstick kick lately. With so many companies making their own versions, there are plenty on the market right now. I've tried a few different kinds but I've been really wanting to try the NYX Liquid Suede lipsticks. NYX is one of my favorite brands and these liquid lipsticks are only 6.99 which is pretty affordable. There are 12 shades currently available, but I picked up 4.

First, I should say that these are pretty hard to get your hands on. Both the NYX and Ulta website have been sold out for weeks and a lot of ULTA stores are sold out as well. I'm thankful my ULTA store had recently restocked (Thanks Anna for the heads up) and I was able to get the ones I wanted. I've seen a lot of mixed reviews on these and I wanted to give my first impressions today.

These do dry matte. I've seen some reviews saying these dry with a glossy finish, but so far for me, these dry matte. They do take a while to dry, though. It's not an instant matte. I find that a little easier to work with though. These are super comfortable to wear and are super pigmented. The swatches below was one swipe and these are also easy to apply. I have such a hard time with liquid lipsticks and these were easy for me to apply. So far I'm loving these lipsticks and I can't wait to wear them more and get a better feel for them.

IT Cosmetics Naturally Pretty: Romantics Palette Review + Swatches (VIDEO)

When this beautiful palette showed up at my doorstep a few days ago- my mouth dropped. These colors are so beautiful. I normally wouldn't reach for colors like these in my every day life- but I can't get over how beautiful these all are. NATIONAL LIPSTICK DAY | SOME OF MY FAVORITES

Today is National Lipstick Day and if you know me at all, you know I love lipstick. I tend to reach for more darker colors but I thought today would be a good day to share some of my favorite lipstick shades currently.

I tend to stick to more darker colors, but with my purple / pink / bright hair, I find it a little harder to work with my normal dark lipsticks- so you will see a few dark colors and a few nude colors in my top faves right now.

TOO FACED MELTED VILLAIN:
I got this as part of a swap from a makeup group I'm in and it's a PERFECT shade for me. I love how dark it is- but also can wear to much lighter color. The only downfall to these melted lipsticks is they take a while to dry so at first they don't have such a long lasting power.


REVLON VA VA VIOLET:
This is a long time favorite- though it wasn't getting much love. I grabbed this a while back after seeing a Facebook friend wear it. It's a super dark color but again, it's pretty glossy. I prefer mattes over anything and because of it being so glossy, it doesn't stay well. I always make sure to carry this in my bag if I wear it out because I know I'm going to need to touch it up.


NYX SOFT MATTE LIP CREME IN PRAGUE:
Okay- this is a pinkish color and it's totally not a color I would normally grab. HOWEVER- I tried it on after having someone tell me I needed it and I got SO many compliments. It's more on the red side so it works- but it does make my teeth look more yellow than they are (Forever cursed because I drink tea). I love how these dry matte and have a great staying power, though I do need to reapply if I eat and drink a lot.


COLOURPOP TOOTSI:
If you get any of these- get this one. It's a matte formula and it's perfect. It's a color very similar to Cashmere from Lime Crime and it's only 5$!.I love wearing this if I want a more bold nude color on my lips and it is just a perfect. I love it!


TOO FACED MELTED CHIHUAHUA:
Let's first talk about the name- melted chihauhau. I DIE! Whenever I was thinking of names for the lipstick I created- my sister said I should pick something unique and she said chihuahua and I thought it was the craziest thing ever- then I saw this. This is a my lips but better color and I love wearing this on days I don't feel like having a bold lip- but still need something. Like I said before- it takes a while to dry so I do end up reapplying these a lot.

MAKEUP WISH LIST

In just a few weeks, I will be heading to Chicago for the very first time in my life! I am so excited to explore a new city with my mister and of course, SHOP! I've been saving for this trip and have created a wish list of things I want to grab while I'm there! I really need clothes, but my wish list consists of makeup!

KAT VON D SHADE + LIGHT: EYE: I've never tried Kat Von D shadows but this palette is calling my name with the ALL MATTE shadows! It's spilt into three quads of which you can use to create certain eye looks. I've heard positive reviews on this, so of course I want to see what it's about.

TARTE AMAZONIAN CLAY FOUNDATION: I've had this foundation before and LOVED it. However, I didn't want to spend the money to buy it again but I've been seeing a lot of people talk highly of it again recently and it made me want to splurge on it again.

MAYBELLINE DREAM LUMI TOUCH: This is something I could easily grab from the drugstore but I wanted to add it because it's been on my want list for a while. I've seen a lady on YouTube use this and it highlights her under eyes so so well.

VELVET TEDDY (MAC): Lately, I've been loving nude colors and this lipstick is the best color. I'm hoping it won't be too dark for my skin though.

URBAN DECAY NAKED CONCEALER: Everyone has been talking about this concealer lately. They all say how amazing it is and how well it covers so OF COURSE I have to try!

MAC SOFT + GENTLE: I've heard this is the best highlight for pale girls like myself. I had another MSF that I enjoy and figured this would be great to add to my collection.

KAT VON D SHADE + LIGHT CONTOUR: Contour is everything right now and with so many people coming out with kits, it's hard to pick one. I've seen a lot of pale skin girls using this kit and loving it for their skin so I'm hoping this won't be too muddy on me.

COLOURPOP BLUSH HAUL + SWATCHES

Hey guys! So Colourpop launched blushes and you know I had to get my hands on that. I ordered them as soon as they went on sale (7am!!). It took FOREVER (okay- two weeks) for them to get here and I was honestly getting super sassy because other people who ordered after me were getting their blushes before mine had even shipped out. I am upset because my shadows "3" and "Truth" had fallen out of the packaging and my Bull Chic lippie broke too. These products are only 5 dollars- so it's totally worth it because they really are amazing- just the packaging needs to be worked on.
