Love + Other things.

How old were you the first time you fell in love?

Lets talk about this first: I always said "I love you" to guys because I felt it was the "right thing to do" I never really understood what it meant to be IN love with someone, rather than just love them. I feel that's how most teenagers are though, so I don't really hold it against myself. I guess the first time I said "I love you" to my boyfriends was probably when I was really young. I honestly think my first "real" boyfriend was at age like..14. I actually still talk to him from time to time + just texted him the other day to ask if I ever told him I loved him (I have a bad memory, okay) Of course, I did tell him I loved him and I do love him as a person but I wasn't IN LOVE with him. There's a big difference.

I honestly believe that I fell in love with someone when I was in 2011 when I started dating my last serious boyfriend. I won't mention names or go into detail about the relationship because it's awkward for me to talk about. Mostly because my beau reads my blog + I know that said person I was in love with may or may not read this very blog too. We still remain "friends" and talk from time to time so it's possible that he (or someone that knows him) has found their way here. In that case, hello.

Tomorrows Question/Topic: Do you remain friends with ex-boyfriends/girlfriends after you break up?

I need some advice from my blogger friends. I would love to start doing more product reviews on the blog. How do you guys feel about that? Would you like to hear more reviews on things I buy/get sent? If you're a blogger who does PR, how did you decide what to review + what companies to work with? I need all your secrets.

  1. As being awkwardly honest , I think NO . It feels super stupid after people break up relations like that and then they become "good friends and nothing else" .

  3. I haven't remained friends with any ex-dating partners (I say "dating partners" because my husband was the first guy that I went on more than a few dates with). This is largely because I was deceived/mistreated by some. Their behavior showed that I could not count on them to be reliable, trustworthy friends.

  4. I remember the first time I said "I love you" to my first boyfriend that I was only with for a month (Lmao). I was only 13! Idk it definitely was NOT love. I just liked him & how he treated me. Then I start dating my husband when I was 14.. that's when I feel like I had an idea of what love was. Instead of saying "i love you" after just a month of dating it took about 3/4 months. I thought about him all the time..I always wanted to be with him. But now 6 years later I REALLY know what love is.. it's more than just wanting to be with someone all the time. It's much deeper than that.
Thank you for taking the time out to comment my blog ;) I appreciate it & I added your button to my page ;)

btw I think product reviews would be nice! I want to start them too but I have to get more focused lol.
