It All Started with H E L L O

I have never really talked about how I met Dustin- and it's kind of a funny story so I thought I would share today.

Let's take it back to when I was a teenager about 12-13. I was actually "dating" one of Dustin's friends and I'm pretty sure he was dating one of my friends. Anyways, I knew his name from the few times we had hung out as teenagers. All throughout high school, my friend worked for a pizza place and she delivered to Dustin at times and EVERY time she would delivery to his house she would text me about it. Weird, I know but that's how girls are.

At the start of this year my friend was snapchatting me and sent me a photo of Dustin because they were hanging out and I replied "Who is your cute bearded ginger friend?" and he told me it was Dustin. I'm pretty sure I didn't reply after that because I thought "I cannot like this kid- I just can't" With the history of me knowing him so young and my friend texting me every time she went to his house- I felt like this was a bad idea to even think he was cute.. which I did think he was pretty adorable.

Then the day I arrived in Texas for physical therapy at Project Walk, I noticed a friend request on my Facebook and it was Dustin. I accepted and messaged him "Hello. Uhm, do I know you?" even though I totally knew who he was. I tried playing stupid or whatever. From that a friendship started and then I began to really like this kid. We would talk on the phone for hours at night and the day I came home from Texas, we hung out. Basically we have been together almost daily since March and to think...it all started (again) when I said "Hello."

Think about all the relationships you have in your life and how they all started- I'm sure they all started with a simple "Hey" "Hi" or "Hello" too.. and I'm about to introduce you to something you're going to love Lindt Hello chocolate....and it starts with a simple Hello, too!
