Blogging How To: Facebook Custom Tab Photos

As you may have noticed- I've done some changes to the look of this blog. I've been working on a new design + in the process- I also updated my Facebook page and sometone asked me how I updated my Twitter + Instagram cover photos. This is super easy + adds a really nice touch to your page. So let's get into it.

  1. First, you will need to add these apps to your Facebook Page, it's pretty easy but here's a page that gives you the details.
  2. You will need to create photos for these apps with the size 111x74.
  3. One you've created photos for tabs you LOVE, you will need to go to your Facebook Timeline + click the drop down arrow at the end of the tabs section. (If you don't have Photoshop, you can use PicMonkey)

  1.  This allows you to edit your apps (you can also add tabs here I believe). Roll over the tab you want to change first + a pencil will appear- when it does, click it.

  1. A drop down menu will appear + you will need to hit "edit settings" and then a pop up will appear. On that pop-up you should see "Custom Tab Image" and a clickable link called "Change". When you hit change- a new tab will open + it will give you the option to upload your own photo.
  2. For your PHOTOS tab- you will need to upload that photo to your timeline + it will update itself. If you add a new photo to your timeline- it will replace the photo, so beware of that.
Easy as pie, am I right? I'm new to these tutorials- but I hope you enjoyed this. If you have any questions, feel free to email me. If you want help creating your own custom tab images- I can help you. Email me for rates!
