ReplyDeleteMost amazing part of this year - I met a good friend of mine, Sabrina, for the first time, and we got to spend an awesome month together in Austin, TX. Not only were we fighting our SCI battles towards recovery, but we got to enjoy a nice little vaykay together and it was really cool getting to spend time with someone that understands all your struggles. I'm really glad we got to do that together. PW wouldn't have been the same without ya. Loveeeee you, XO

ReplyDeleteThat is always wonderful. BUT know you aren't any less because of the chair. It took me a LONG time (and I'm still learning this) to realize that my chair doesn't define me. Not being able to walk doesn't change who I am as a person, just how I get around. I'm sure you are wonderful. <3

ReplyDeleteI understand that 100%. Sometimes going out in public is difficult but I make myself get out so i don't get all cooped up inside.. because then it will be even harder to go out. Glad you have your kids
ReplyDeleteThankyou I hoping to regain some feeling back or even better to walk again I just have to do a lot of work to get it just so hard to know one day you could be walking and another on a chair your life could change on a blink of an eye ;)
ReplyDeleteI'm healthier and stronger this year! And I'm not giving up in the hard time I'm having now :)
